Let’s talk about

what we don’t talk about

We’re here to improve communication in the workplace by developing emotional skills.

Communication is central to the way we work together. For communication to be effective, people need to be able to articulate their emotions.

Dealing with our emotions is a skill. It takes practise to understand, filter and communicate our emotional experiences and the emotional experiences of others.

Emotional skills save time and energy that is often lost in miscommunication or failure to understand the intentions of our colleagues.

Creating a culture of transparency

Together with your team, we will highlight the widespread impact emotions have in your workplace, as well as discuss and action how to use your emotions powerfully at work.

The gap we bridge

Our workshops provide a structured environment for vulnerable conversations to take place.

We don’t often talk about emotions because it lets down that wall. This doesn’t have to be uncomfortable, and actually provides opportunity for connection.

Talking about emotions can be fun and entertaining. For example, we all experience shame in different ways.

You might send an email to the wrong address or bumble through a presentation. It is important to shine a light on how we might feel about these experiences — however big or small.

We shouldn’t feel silenced by our emotions. It is only when we are curious about our feelings that we can embrace them and act powerfully. Understanding emotions gives us tools to ask for help and communicate our needs in the workplace.
